Course summary
This program is composed of a series of interrelated components including the prevention, investigation, and apprehension functions of law enforcement; the prosecution, defending, judging, and administrative roles of the courts; the controlling, deterring, and rehabilitative roles of corrections; and the prevention and treatment functions of the juvenile justice system. In criminal justice, interpersonal and organizational dynamics are intricate and require knowledge of human behavior, social development, political philosophy, and other interrelated courses.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed 32 semester hours (s.h.) of course work, JUST 1000 with at least a grade of C, and have an overall GPA of 2.5 or above. They must have a completion of Level 5 of the INTERLINK Language Center and the score of 420 on the SAT I Critical Reading or 17 on the Combined English/Writing section of the ACT. Non-native speakers of English are required to provide an evidence of English proficiency of TOEFL with a minimum score of 500 on paper-based or 173 on computer-based or 61 on internet based test and IELTS score of 5.5 or higher is required for admission.
