Course summary
This program provides professional preparation for individuals to teach in public school programs for prekindergarten through third grade. This option provides a foundation in child development to prepare students to design, implement and evaluate developmentally appropriate curricula for young children. It also provides preparation for working with children from infancy through preschool and their families in a variety of settings.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have graduated from an accredited high school or should have earned a General Education Diploma (GED). They should have also obtained a minimum overall GPA of 2.00. In addition to this, international students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 500 (paper-based), or 61 (internet-based); or an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0.
