Course summary
This program is designed so that students complete general education and content courses as freshman and sophomores and begin the Early Childhood program as juniors as members of a cohort group. It consists of five quarters of integrated coursework and field experiences and one quarter of student teaching. Recommendation for licensure requires successful completion of the program and passing scores on required Praxis II examinations.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have earned a certificate of completion of secondary education that would enable the student to be admitted to a university in his or her home country, have studied mathematics and science subjects at the secondary level, a minimum score of 173(CBT) or 61/120 (IBT) in TOEFL (College of Engineering and Computer Science requires 197(CBT) or 71/120(IBT)), a minimum score of band 5 in IELTS, 1140 or higher in SAT or 25 or higher in ACT for coming directly out of secondary school with GPA is 3.25 or higher and must ranked among the top 10% of their graduating class.
