Course summary
This program is only awarded to a few dedicated TDP students each year. To graduate from the MU College of Education with Honors, students must fulfill the program’s requirements. Students debate the latest topics in education through a critical examination of original educational texts. Undergraduates also partner with professors from across the College of Education to engage in high quality research activities. This experience culminates with the Honors student’s presentation of their research projects within a public forum.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have maintain a cumulative GPA based upon all MU coursework of 3.5 or higher, and Complete a minimum of 8 semester hours of credit in College of Education Honor courses. Students must also complete and pass the following two courses to graduate with Honors from the MU College of Education: TDP 4085: Honors Undergraduate Research Seminar and TDP 4085: Special Readings. International students whose native language is not English must have the minimum TOEFL score with 500 on paper based test, 173 on computer-based test, 60 on Internet-based test and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of 6.0 and no individual band under 5.0. is required for admission.
