Course summary
The computer engineering program is concerned with the organization, design, and use of digital hardware. Students who satisfy the requirements of this concentration have the opportunity to be prepared to work in both the design and application of modern computing systems.
Program modules
The courses are - EE 3372 Software Design II, EE 4374 Operating System Design, EE 4342 Digital Systems Design II, EE 4142 Laboratory for EE 4342, EE 4378 Microprocessor Systems II, EE 4178 Laboratory for EE 4378, EE 4379 Computer Architecture, EE 4365 Topics in Soft Computing.
Entry requirement for international students
Students applying for this program must have official transcripts from the schools or colleges attended. If English is the secondary language of the students then they must write SAT or Act exams. If English is not the secondary language of the students then they must write TOEFL exams. Applicants whose primary language is Spanish and who lack the proficiency in English must write PAA (Prueba de Aptitud Academica). The minimum required test scores: for - SAT 920, for ACT - 20 and for TOEFL - 500. For Spanish students the minimum TOEFL score is 1000. These test scores must be sent to the university directly by the testing agency.
