Course summary
This program stresses analytical design of systems for information transmission, control, and signal processing. For this concentration students must complete at least three of the courses listed below, and one from either one of the other lists of concentration courses.
Program modules
The courses are - EE 4341 Communication Systems, EE 4361 Fiber Optic Communication, EE 4364 Systems and Control, EE 4383 Digital Signal Processing, EE 4388 Digital Communications, EE 4365 Topics in Soft Computing, EE 4356 Real-Time Signal Processing and Communication, EE 4389 High Resolution Radar.
Entry requirement for international students
Students applying for this program must have official transcripts from the schools or colleges attended. If English is the secondary language of the students then they must write SAT or Act exams. If English is not the secondary language of the students then they must write TOEFL exams. Applicants whose primary language is Spanish and who lack the proficiency in English must write PAA (Prueba de Aptitud Academica). The minimum required test scores: for - SAT 920, for ACT - 20 and for TOEFL - 500. For Spanish students the minimum TOEFL score is 1000. These test scores must be sent to the university directly by the testing agency.
