Course summary

The mission of this program in Athletic Training is to prepare students to be confident and proficient Athletic Trainers (ATs) by providing comprehensive education in the eight content areas set forth by the Professional Education Council (PEC). These include evidence-based practice, prevention and health promotion, clinical examination and diagnosis, acute care of injuries and illnesses, therapeutic interventions, psychosocial strategies and referral, healthcare administration, and professional development and responsibility. The program faculty believes in providing students with enriching educational experiences which foster personal growth, communication skills, critical thinking skills, and professional ethics.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 80 (Internet based), 213 (Computer based), and 550 (Paper based); or an IELTS score of 6.5.
