Entry requirement for international students
Students must have completed a minimum of 62 hours of course work. They should possess 2.50 MU GPA. International students whose native language is not English must have the minimum TOEFL score with 500 on paper based test, 173 on computer-based test, 60 on Internet-based test and the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) with an overall score of 6.0 and no individual band under 5.0. is required for admission.

The University of Missouri was founded in 1839 in Columbia, Mo., as the first public university west of the Mississippi River and the first state university in Thomas Jefferson's Louisiana Purchase territory. MU provides all the benefits of two universities in one it’s a major land-grant institution and Missouri's largest public research university. So the residence halls are located only minutes away from classes, the library and campus computer labs (as well as more casual places to study, such as Brady Commons). The optional living-learning communities surround them with people who share their academic and career interests a great way for students to make friends, find study partners and target their career goals. University Student Apartments are available only for students who are married, have children, are single graduate students, or are students over the age of 21.
