Course summary
This program will provide a balanced curriculum that addresses the knowledge and skills related to programming, databases, operating systems, and networking in business environments; prepare students to secure positions commensurate with their emphasis areas; encourage students to participate in continuing education activities and maintain professional memberships; measure key student learning outcomes continuously, and identify and implement opportunities for improvement. Graduates of the program will support the data management needs of business through the design, implementation, and maintenance of relational databases; solve a variety of business problems through the application of structured program analysis and design concepts.
Entry requirement for international students
Students seeking admission to this University must have a minimum score of 500 in paper-based, 173 in computer-based or 61 in internet-based TOEFL. Studentss with a TOEFL score below 500, 173 or 61 and willing to study in Rapid City campus are required to participate in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program until they satisfy the required completion criteria. Studentss are also required to have one of the following: official academic transcript or marks sheets from previous secondary education institutions and universities attended; a transcript from an accredited US higher education institution or from an international institution that is approved by the country’s national ministry of education or appropriate approved body indicating completion of a post-secondary program or certified GED examination report.
