Course summary

This program prepare individuals with the clinical and didactic experience necessary for successful entry into the Nuclear Medicine Technology profession. The goal of the Nuclear Medicine Technology program is to enable the student to confidently possess the knowledge and skills necessary to safely perform a wide variety of clinical procedures, effectively communicate with patients with competent skills in: radio pharmaceutical dosage, calculation and administration, the operation of imaging devices, and operation of radiation detection monitoring devices.

Entry requirement for international students

Students must have completion of all prerequisite courses with a minimum grade of C. They must possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 in all course work to date overall achievement in science courses, completion of required immunizations and criminal background screen. Applicants whose primary language is not English should have the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 550 is required for admission.
