Course summary
The second degree pathway is designed for previously degreed students interested in pursuing a second undergraduate degree in nursing. This accelerated 12 month program begins in the fall semester. Students should apply to GMU as transfer students for fall admission AND submit the second degree application to the School of Nursing.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have a cumulative high school grade point average (GPA) for course work completed in grades 9 through 12. Level of difficulty of course work selected throughout high school, particularly in the areas of English, mathematics, social studies, laboratory science, and foreign language. A minimum TOEFL score of 88 or higher on the internet-based exam, 230 or higher on the computer-based exam, and 570 or higher on the paper-based exam or a minimum score of 6.5 on IELTS is required. A minimum score of 450 or higher on the SAT I critical reading section or an ACT-English score of 20 or higher is also required.
