Course summary
This program is offered in partnership with the Penn State School of Nursing. It is specifically designed for RNs who seek to widen their range of career options. With revolutionary changes taking place in the nursing profession today, there has never been a better time to pursue an online bachelor's degree in this field. This program is designed to broaden students skill set and increase their résumé's attractiveness to employers. Completing this degree can prepare students for a supervisory or specialized position, an administrative career, or entry into graduate school.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must be a high school graduate or must have completed their GED. The SAT or ACT is required if students native language is English, or if they are a U.S. citizen or permanent resident. It is optional if their native language is not English and not required if they have completed a year of post-secondary course work. International Students whose native language is not English must submit proof of English language proficiency: A minimum TOEFL score of 80 on the Internet-based TOEFL, 213 on the computer-based exam, or 550 on the paper exam (score reports must be official and cannot be more than two years old); A minimum IELTS score of 6.5 on the academic test; SAT score of 530 or higher on the critical reading or writing section; IGCSE score of A, B, or C on the English language exam, or; IB score of 5 or higher on the English language exam. Applicants who have been in a U.S. college or university and have completed two years of full-time academic course work and have a grade of C (2.0) or higher in a Standard English composition course will also meet the language proficiency requirement.
