Course summary
The Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders (CSD; formerly the Division of Speech Pathology and Audiology) in an interrelated discipline that deals with disorders of speech-language and hearing. Audiology is the study of human hearing and the diagnosis and treatment of hearing-related disorders. Speech-language pathology is the study of human communication and its developed or acquired disorders.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants to UH Manoa are expected to have completed certain requirements in high school. Professional and certain other programs may have specific GPA and prerequisite course work requirements. Students who do not have any university/college coursework will be required to submit either the SAT or ACT. Both are not required. Minimum TOEFL Scores required are: Computer Score 173, Internet Score 61, Paper Score 500. 2.50 is the minimum GPA requirement for international applicants transferring from an U.S. institution. Professional and certain other programs may require higher GPAs and additional prerequisite course work.
