Course summary
This program utilizes recreation to help people with disabilities and illnesses to develop and use their leisure in ways that enhance health, independence, and well-being. The ultimate goal of therapeutic recreation is to facilitate full and optimal involvement in community life.

Entry requirement for international students
Students should have proof of English language proficiency as determined by the results of the TOEFL or IELTS. Native English speakers do not need to submit test results. TOEFL scores must be sent directly from the College Board. Recommended minimum TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version). IELTS scores must be sent directly from the testing agency. Recommended minimum IELTS score is 6.5.
