Course summary

This program focuses on providing students with a quality education in the fundamentals of biomedical laboratory science and laboratory skills in addition to a broad-based university general education. Instead of participating in a clinical track internship, research track students take additional courses (16 - 20 credit hours) and complete an approved undergraduate research project under a faculty mentor, presenting their findings at a UNH undergraduate research conference.

ANSC 623 Comparative Histology, ANSC 704 Principles of Pathobiology, MICR 714 Public Health and Waterborne Disease, BCHM Biochemistry of Cancer, ANSC 751 Cell Culture, INCO 590 Student Research Experience, ANSC 714 Research Methods/Endocrinology, MLS 796 Biomedical Research Internship.

Entry requirement for international students

Students should have proof of English language proficiency as determined by the results of the TOEFL or IELTS. Native English speakers do not need to submit test results. TOEFL scores must be sent directly from the College Board. Recommended minimum TOEFL score is 80 (internet version), 550 (paper version), 213 (computer version). IELTS scores must be sent directly from the testing agency. Recommended minimum IELTS score is 6.5.
