Course summary
This program prepares students for graduate studies or employment in a wide range of industrial and medical areas. Students benefit from small classes and personal attention from the well-qualified faculty. They learn to operate a wide range of modern instruments, including a nuclear magnetic resonance spectrophotometer, ultraviolet-visible and infrared spectrophotometer, and gas-liquid and high pressure liquid chromatography. Students are encouraged to explore their individual interests and to work closely with professors on research projects works in scientific journals.

Entry requirement for international students
Students should have obtained a C average in four years of English, three years of advanced math, three years of social science, one year of fine arts and three years of lab science. They should have obtained a GPA score of 2.6 (or above) or rank in the top 60 per cent of the graduating class. In addition to this, they should have obtained an ACT score of 18 (or above) or SAT scores, TOEFL score of 500 for paper-based, 173 for Computer-based, 61 for internet-based and IELTS score of 5.0 are required.
