Course summary
This program objective is to make the students understand the ethical and professional demands of contemporary civil engineering practice and successfully enroll in graduate engineering or other professional programs.
Program modules
The modules include CSCE190 800 Multimedia in Computing, CSCE230 150 Computer Organization, CSCE230 151 Recitation , CSCE230L 001 Computer Organization Lab, CSCE251 101 Unix Programming, CSCE251K 001 C Programming, CSCE310 150 Data Structure and Algorithm.
Entry requirement for international students
The students must have the equivalent of a B average or higher in high school. The SAT and ACT are not required for international students, however the SAT is highly recommended. Test scores are influential not only for admission but also for scholarship consideration. A TOEFL score of 523 (Paper-based exam), 70 (Internet-based exam) or 193 (Computer-based exam) is required. An IELTS score of 6.0 is acceptable.
