Course summary
This program provides students with an understanding of the key principles and practices of computing and the underlying mathematical and scientific principles. It also provides students with the knowledge, skills, and experiences that enable them to enter the workforce in various fields of computer science and information technology or to pursue graduate studies in computer science.

Entry requirement for international students
Students should have high school graduates that have earned less than 30 semester hours (45 quarter hours) of transferable college credit coursework (not including joint enrollment and advanced placement credits). They should have strong SAT or ACT score results and provide a well developed personal essay. The middle 50% of admitted students had SAT total scores ranging from 1070 to 1210 (CR + M sub scores only), and high school grade point averages ranging from 3.13 to 3.71 (calculated on academic courses only).
