Course summary
This program provides knowledge of new venture opportunities, methods for creating and growing enterprises, and the role of entrepreneurship and young or smaller firms in economic development and the world economy. The program will help prepare students to create their own ventures, work in professional sectors that serve small or young businesses, or contribute significantly to the success of businesses in which they are employed.

The modules are 300 Survey of Entrepreneurship 3 hours, 430 Family Business Management 3 hours, 450 Entrepreneurship for Scientists and Engineers 3 or 4 hours, 454 New Venture Formation 3 hours, 464 Entrepreneurial Consulting 3 hours, 494 Special Topics in Entrepreneurship 3 hours , 499 Independent Study in Entrepreneurship 1 to 3 hours, 502 Entrepreneurship 4 hours, 545 New Venture Formation 4 hours, 554 Fundamentals of Technology Ventures 4 hours, 555 Technology Venture Formation I 4 hours, 556 Technology Venture Formation II 4 hours, 558 Entrepreneurial Electronic Commerce 4 hours, 559 Entrepreneurial Consulting 4 hours, 594 Special Topics in Entrepreneurship 4 hours, 596 Independent Study in Entrepreneurship 1 to 4 hours.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must satisfy the minimum high school subject requirements and all applicants must have successfully completed the high school courses such as four years of English, three years of mathematics (includes algebra, geometry, advanced algebra/ trigonometry), science, social science, two years of language other than English and one year of an elective. They must present a satisfactory combination of class rank and ACT or SAT test scores. Applicants from countries where the official language of the country is not English must have the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a minimum score of 520 on paper-based or 190 on computer-based is required for admission.
