Course summary
This program goals include fundamental academic skills that ensure competency as readers, writers, data analysts, and critical thinkers. It provides foundations for understanding the physiological, social, cultural, economic, and behavioral factors influencing health, disease, and disability throughout the lifespan. The technical skills needed to gather, analyze, describe, and report information about health, disease, and health-care delivery are provided.

Entry requirement for international students
The TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or the ELPT (English Language Proficiency Test) is required of all applicants with fewer than three years of full-time study where English is the primary language of instruction. Only scores mailed directly from the Educational Testing Service (ETS) will be accepted.
