Course summary
This program places heavy emphasis on both practical and didactic education. Students enrich their learning with clinical experience throughout their two years in the program. Classes are small in size, engendering substantial faculty-student interaction and lively classroom participation. Students in this degree program will be well-rounded, with didactic coursework in all of the areas of general, vascular and cardiac sonography. However, they will choose one or two of these areas of clinical practice for their rotations.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must complete 60 credits of college coursework to include the following: 3 credits Human Anatomy, 3 credits Human Physiology, 3 credits Physics, 3 credits Psychology, 3 credits Math, 1-3 credits Medical Terminology, 3 credits Humanities or Social Sciences, 6 credits English Composition and additional electives to total 60 transferable credits. International students must have official test scores for either Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the academic International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The TOEFL/IELTS requirement may be waived for applicants who hold a degree from an accredited college or university located in a country in which English is the official language and also the language of instruction at the institution.
