Course summary
This program's purpose is to provide students without relevant advanced degrees and/or without previous public health experience with those skills necessary for advanced positions in health management. Also, students with experience and/or a relevant advanced degree who wish to pursue a health management credential with broad applicability should seriously consider this coordinated program.The School of Business should be contacted for MBA application materials and the School of Public Health should be contacted for MPH application materials.
Program modules
Biostatistics for Public Health, Fundamentals of Environmental Health Sciences, Introduction to Epidemiology, Social and Behavioral Science Core,etc. and Financial Accounting for Managers, Financial Analysis and Reporting for Management, Management Information Systems, Corporate Financeetc.
Entry requirement for international students
A master degree is required for Ph.D. A bachelor degree is required for Masters for admission .Have a 3.0 undergraduate GPA on all coursework attempted, or have a 2.75 undergraduate GPA. The GRE (Graduate Record Examination) is required for most graduate programs. The GMAT (Graduate Management Admissions Test) is required of students applying to the College of Business Administration, and the MAT (Miller Analogies Test) or the GRE may be taken for admission .Minimum score of 213 (computer-based) or 550 (Paper-based).
