Course summary
This program is designed to obtain maximum integration between concurrently offered basic science and clinical courses. During the first three years of the predoctoral program, the subject matter deals with: the biology of embryological development of the face and oral cavity; oral mineralized tissues; dental supporting tissues; oral microbiota; salivary glands and their products; oral and other mucous membranes; the various sensory and oral motor systems of the mouth.

The modules include HDO 501 Oral Biology I, HDO 701 Oral Pathology, HDO 702 Oral Pathology Conference I,HDO 703 Oral Diagnostics, HDO 704 Oral Facial Genetics, HDO 705 Oral Medicine, HDO 706 Clinical Pharmacology, HDO 711 Oral Biology III,HDO 802 Pathology Conference II,HDO 807 Year IV Clinic: Oral Diagnostics.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must hold a bachelors degree with a minimum grade point average of 3.0. Applicants whose first or native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English prior to matriculation. To be considered for admission; an applicant must present an acceptable score on the TOEFL or IELTS test. They should have obtained a minimum score of 550 on paper based test; 213 on computer based test and; 80 on internet based test. An overall score of at least 6.5 with no sub-section below 6 is required on the International English Language Testing System exam (IELTS).
