Course summary
This program draws on a variety of underlying disciplines to research important marketing management problems centered around the immediate and future needs and wants of customers. Groups of HBS faculty pursuing research in this field, and currently welcoming collaboration with doctoral students, are studying:consumer behavior ,marketing organization and control ,product and pricing policy ,consumer marketing and retailing ,multinational marketing.
Entry requirement for international students
A bachelors degree or its equivalent, earned at a college or its equivalent either in the United States or overseas, is normally required for entrance to any of the graduate or professional schools. International students enrolled at Harvard University must be able to read English with ease, to understand rapid, idiomatic English as spoken in lectures and group discussions, and to express thoughts quickly and clearly in spoken and written English. A student who is not proficient in English at the time of application should not apply for admission. Applicants whose native language is not English or who have not graduated from an English-speaking university may be required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). Applicants should consult each individual school about test requirements and minimum acceptable scores.
