Course summary
This program offers three program options or major areas of specialization which include higher education leadership, college administration and college teaching. Within each of these areas, there is sufficient flexibility to fashion a program of study tailored to each student's specific career goals. Students may focus on two- or four-year colleges or some other aspect of post-secondary education.
Entry requirement for international students
An applicant who is a graduate of a regionally accredited institution in the U.S., or of a similar foreign university whose requirements for the bachelor's degree are substantially equivalent to those at the University of Arkansas, may be considered for admission to the Graduate School. In addition to this, they should have equivalent of at least 16 years schooling; have pursued a curriculum comparable to one at the University of Arkansas; have earned at least a 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) grade point average on the last 60 hours of bachelor's degree course work (approximately last two years of a four-year degree program). International students should have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper- based)/79 (internet-based) or a 6.5 on the IELTS.
