Course summary
The Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota program for the degree of Doctor of Education in Leadership (Ed.D.) is a practitioner-oriented program with a curriculum and schedule designed around the needs of adult learners. In order to meet the requirements of the degree, students must complete a minimum of 67 semester credits. This will include coursework in leadership, education, research, and a track of choice. After completion of their coursework, students will be required to pass a comprehensive examination before writing a dissertation on a relevant topic.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must obtain a master's degree with a strong background in other or related disciplines from an accredited institution. They should have a satisfactory academic standing as an undergraduate: "B" (3.0 GPA) average or better in the undergraduate major, and in courses prerequisite to the proposed graduate study. They should have completed the GRE, TOEFL, IELTS verbal examination.
