Course summary
This program allows students to apply certain credits from the Pharm.D. curriculum towards the requirements of the MSCR degree, and to apply MSCR courses to Pharm.D. elective requirements. Students in this program can earn a professional pharmacy degree and a Master of Science in Clinical Research degree concurrently. These students may elect to design their research project in collaboration with their Clinical Preceptor during an appropriate fourth year Clerkship, an option that is not available to students pursuing separate Pharm.D. and MSCR degrees. This unique joint degree program provides pharmacists with an additional qualification and a broad understanding of clinical research. Graduates will augment their clinical pharmacy practice skills with an in-depth understanding of the fundamentals required to produce and interpret medical evidence which may be utilized in a variety of practice settings. Graduates will possess the education and the necessary skills to choose from a broader range of career options.

Entry requirement for international students
Applicants seeking admission must have a bachelor's Degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0; GRE/PCAT/MCAT; TOEFL score of 550 on paper-based, 213 on computer-based, 79 on internet-based. General Prerequisites: Anatomy and Physiology (4 Hours), Statistics (3 Hours), Science Courses (12 Hours, including 2 courses with labs).
