Course summary
The program in aerospace engineering provides qualified students with opportunities to further their education with advanced courses in their area(s) of interest, as well as to exercise and sharpen skills developed as part of their undergraduate training. It provides students the challenge of independent research, with guidance but with minimal supervision. Students may specialize in aerodynamics, computational fluid dynamics, control theory, flight dynamics, orbital mechanics, propulsion, structures, or structural dynamics.
Entry requirement for international students
Students to be considered for admission must have completed a bachelor's degree in aerospace engineering, or its equivalent, from an institution of recognized standing and degrees in mathematics, physics, and certain other engineering disciplines may also be deemed appropriate. Students must have scored greater than 1150 (both verbal plus quantitative) in the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) score of 1100 may also apply to students who have received a master's degree from this department. Also students from a foreign country must demonstrate their proficiency in English language with a TOEFL score of 550 on the paper based or greater than 213 on the computer based TOEFL.
