Course summary
This program is designed to provide individuals an opportunity to pursue their long-range goals and objectives by preparing for careers in teaching, administration, extension service, and training and development positions in public and private education, business, industry, and governmental agencies. It builds upon the competencies and foundations of previous experiences and course work. The purpose of this doctoral degree is to further develop competencies, skills, and abilities of individuals to assume leadership roles, or manage programs, and/or teach in a variety of settings.
Entry requirement for international students
Students to be considered for admission must have completed a bachelor’s degree from an accredited U.S. institution, or the equivalent from an international institution with good academic good standing in the institution last attended. They must have obtained any one of the following scores: a GPA of at least 2.75 on all undergraduate course work at an accredited United States institution in fulfillment of the requirements for a baccalaureate degree; a GPA of at least 3.0 on all graduate course work at an accredited United States institution in fulfillment of the requirements for a graduate degree; or an acceptable GRE score with a verbal score of above 450 and quantitative score of above 450 and a combined score of above 1000. Also students whose native language is not English must demonstrate their proficiency in English language either with a TOEFL scores of at least 550 on the written test (213 on the computer based test, 79 on the Internet Based Test with 16 in each section) or IELTS scores of at least 6.5.
