Course summary
This program designed is to provide opportunities for established professionals in the field for dancers, choreographers, teachers, and other dance practitioners to develop qualitative methodologies for theorizing artistic practice as well as the research/writing skills necessary for contributing new theoretical knowledge to the field of dance.

Entry requirement for international students
Students should have earned a masters degree in dance or a related field of study from an accredited college or university. International students, whose native language is not English, must demonstrate English language proficiency by obtaining minimum TOEFL score of 550 (paper - based) or 213 (computer - based) or 79 (internet - based) or on the International English Language Test Service (IELTS) an overall band score of 6.5; or on the Michigan English Language Assessment Battery (MELAB) an overall score of 80 as evidence of English language proficiency is required. There is no minimum GRE score required.
