Course summary
The coursework of the program gives students a broad foundation in modern pure mathematics. An essential part of the program consists of seminars on a variety of topics of current interest in which mathematicians from greater Boston often participate. In addition, the Brandeis-Harvard-MIT-Northeastern Mathematics Colloquium gives the student an opportunity to hear the current work of eminent mathematicians from all over the world.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have earned a baccalaureate or masters degree in the related discipline from an accredited institution for admissions. International students, whose native language is not English, must have a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 100 (internet-based).
