Course summary

The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is an exciting, contemporary degree that is currently being developed at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee offered in two tracks, an entry level DPT and transitional DPT. The entry level DPT (e-DPT) is designed for those students who are not yet licensed, but want to become physical therapists. The UWS Doctor of Physical Therapy at The University of Wisconsin Milwaukee has been granted Candidate for Accreditation status by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association. The transitional DPT (t-DPT) is designed for those students who are licensed to practice P.T. in the U.S. with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, but who are seeking higher education in clinical physical therapy. Entry requirement for international students

Admission Requirements: Applicant should complete Bachelor's or Master’s degree, but who are seeking higher education in clinical physical therapy; Grades: A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.75. This calculation includes both attempts in their repeated coursework; Graduate Record Examination (GRE), the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT), or Miller Analogies Test is required for all the applicants; A minimum TOEFL score of 550 PBT, 213 CBT, or 79 iBT and a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 or higher is required.
