Course summary
The primary goal of the curriculum, therefore, is to offer students a strong background in the principles of veterinary medicine and to expose them to the spectrum of present and future career opportunities in the profession. The mainstream aspects of the profession -- food (cattle, sheep, swine); fiber (sheep); companion (dog, cat); and sporting (horse) animal medicine and surgery, preventive medicine, and public health -- are areas that are highlighted along with instruction in the emerging areas noted above.
Entry requirement for international students
A master degree is required for Ph.D. A bachelor degree is required for Masters for admission. Application form .A 500-word Academic Statement of Purpose should be prepared and submitted with the application. Applicants for admission must provide hard copies of official transcripts of all work beyond secondary school - undergraduate coursework, graduate coursework, study abroad courses, community college courses, and non-degree courses. Transcripts should be submitted to the Graduate School in an envelope which is university issued and sealed by your university's Registrar's office (or equivalent office),requested from the appropriate Registrar, returned to you, and included unopened in your self-assembled application packet for mailing. Three official recommendations are required by the Graduate School
