Course summary
The Belk College of Business at UNC Charlotte and the Copenhagen Business School are collaborating on an exciting new dual master's-degree program in economics. Graduates of the program will receive both an M.S. in Economics with an Economics/Finance concentration from UNC Charlotte and a M.S. in Applied Economics and Finance from Copenhagen Business School. Students will spend one academic year in each location. The UNC Charlotte degree is designed for students seeking careers in banking or other financial institutions, as well as regulatory bodies dealing with financial markets. The CBS degree provides students with a solid understanding of finance, macroeconomics, and industrial economics. Students completing the dual degree program are prepared for analytical and management positions that require an international perspective and an ability to integrate economic analysis and advanced quantitative methods.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have must have a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. Student should have earned at least an overall grade point average of 3.5 (on a 4.0 scale) in the graduate degree program. Addition to Graduate Application Instructions regarding minimum required English Language Proficiency Scores: TOEFL (Test Of English As A Foreign Language). Minimum required score: 83 (internet based test), 220 (computer based test), 557 (paper based test). IELTS (International English Language Testing System). Minimum required score: 6.5 overall band score. MELAB (Michigan English Language Battery) Minimum required score: 78
