Course summary
This program is for students who are interested in pursuing individual study and research in particular areas of pure and/ or applied mathematics.
Entry requirement for international students
Students applying for this course must have copies of high school or secondary school documents stamped "attested as true copies" by an educational official from your school, council, or embassy/consulate. Students whose native language is not English are required to take English Language proficiency exams. An official TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) or IELTS (International English Language Testing System) or MELAB (Michigan English Assessment Battery) is acceptable. Acceptable TOEFL scores are 550+ on the paper and pencil test or 79+ on the Internet-based test. Acceptable IELTS score is 7 or higher on either the academic paper and pencil test or the academic computer-based test. The minimum acceptable score is 76 for MELAB. Students are also required to take ACT or SAT exams. Students should have a grade-point average of 3.5 or better in courses in mathematics in order to be admitted to the program.
