Course summary
In this program students are encouraged to audition for the Young Performing Artists Program which allows them to present a full-length, public recital sponsored by the Department. This recital is in addition to any senior or junior recitals that may be part of the degree program. Once the requirements for the Young Performing Artists Program are completed, the student graduates from UAB with honors.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have secondary school evaluation report, official high school or college transcripts, a minimum ACT score of 20 or a minimum SAT combined score of 950 (critical thinking + math), a minimum TOEFL score (UAB code 1856) of 500 on the written examination, or a score of 173 on the computer-based version, or 61 on the Internet-based version or IELTS score of 5.5 overall bandwith with no less than a 5.0 on any module for international students whose native language is not English.
