Course summary
This program is designed for students who have been admitted to Eastern Virginia Medical School. The program takes five years to complete. At the end of that time, students will receive both Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees. It provides skills and knowledge to diagnose and treat individual patients. The Master of Public Health (MPH) degree supplements that medical education by providing physicians with skills in population-based research, design and evaluation of health promotion and disease prevention programs, and management of the health-care delivery system.
