Course summary
This program held between Mount Sinai School of Medicine and Baruch College of the City University of New York. The M.B.A. in Health Care Administration at the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College is the only M.B.A. program in New York State that is dedicated to the education of high quality managers for the health care system and industry. Each school brings its unique strengths to the partnership. Together they provide students with an outstanding business education as applied to the field of health care management.
Program modules
The modules for first year: Embryology, Emergency Medicine, Gross Anatomy, Molecules and Cells, Art and Science of Medicine, Histology/Physiology, Mechanisms of Pathogenesis and Host Defense, Art and Science of Medicine. Modules for second year: Brain and Behavior, Pharmacology, Systems Based Pathophysiology, Art and Science of Medicine, Pharmacology, Systems Based Pathophysiology, Art and Science of Medicine. Modules for third year: Module Period I, Module Period II, Module Period III, Module Period IV. Modules for four year: Block 1 - Board Review, Block 2 – Sub-I (Med/Peds), Radiology (to be completed in either year 4 or 5), Electives (to be completed in either years 3, 4 or 5) and module for fifth year: Blocks 1 and 2 - EM and Critical Care.
