Course summary
Master of Education with specialties in elementary education, reading, or English as a second language for women and men. Designed for K–12 teachers who hold a baccalaureate degree and have or are eligible for an initial teaching license, the co-educational program gives graduates the advanced tools they need to effectively serve today’s school populations. Meredith’s Master of Education program combines both educational theory and applied practice through individualized teaching. Choose four of the following: Curriculum Development, Advanced Educational Psychology, Education in Society, Reading Across the Curriculum.
Entry requirement for international students
Admission Requirements: Applicants must have successfully completed a bachelor degree from a regionally accredited four-year institution; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores; Educational Testing Service (ETS) scores; proficiency in the English language by submitting official scores (minimum accepted score of a 173 on the computer-based test or 61 on the Internet-based test) on the test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
