Course summary
This program provides a contemporary approach to school administration as a sense-making, problem-solving activity that emphasizes leadership rather than management. Students learn to analyze organizational problems from multiple perspectives, learn about empowering leadership practices, and learn to develop qualities associated with effective leadership and informed decision-making. Courses focus on practical issues that school leaders face with an emphasis on making the connections that are necessary for effective administration.
