Course summary
The Museum Studies MA program combines traditional training in academic subjects, museum theory and practices, and the practical experience that is necessary for a successful museum career. The forty-two credit hour program combines a museum studies core, which emphasizes Administration, Collections Management, or Exhibition Development, with a academic core--often Anthropology, History, or American Studies.
Entry requirement for international students
Master Degree is required for Doctoral Programs. Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from accredited undergraduate institution . Completed application . Grade point average of 3.0/4.0 or better (our average is a 3.4/4.0). GRE test. Personal Statement. Academic IELTS: an overall band score of 6.0 with no individual score below 5.0.TOEFL: 550 on paper-based; 213 on computer-based; or 80 on Internet-based. TOEFL and IELTS scores may not be more than two years old.
