Course summary
This program is designed to train already licensed mental health and chemical health professionals (i.e. Marriage and Family, Psychologists, Clinical Counselors, Social Workers, LADC, School Psychologists, School Counselors, Psychiatrists, Psychiatric Nurses, Teachers at all levels, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Parent Educators) and students in AGS clinical licensure track programs (Marriage and Family Therapy, Clinical Counselor and School Counselor) in one of the fastest growing areas of the parent-family support field. The purpose of the coaching relationship is to provide a safe, non-judgmental, supportive arena for parents to learn new, effective parenting skills.

Entry requirement for international students
Students submit a baccalaureate degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution. A cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale. 12 quarter (9 semester) credits in psychology or a related field. A completed application file, which includes an interview. Official Transcript Please arrange to have an official transcript from the institution which granted student bachelor’s degree sent directly from that institution. Student official transcript must indicate that a bachelor’s degree was conferred. Student may also submit official transcripts reflecting other undergraduate or graduate level education.
