Course summary
This program students will benefit from the close association between researchers in the department and clinicians in the Veterinary Teaching Hospital, who examine and treat a large and diverse population of both large and small animal patients. There is an active seminar program within the department, with weekly seminars that feature local scientists and clinicians as well as invited speakers. The department also encourages collaborations between faculty and graduate students within the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicant should have completed a baccalaureate degree with at least five years of appropriate professional experience and an undergraduate GPA of below 3.0; or they should have enrolled in a bachelor's degree program at Colorado State University and who have completed at least 75 credits of course work toward their degrees, including 15 credits in upper division courses required by their major, with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above. Applicants are required to have obtained a minimum TOEFL score of 213 (computer based), 550 (paper based), or 80 (internet based); or a minimum IELTS score of 6.0.
