Entry requirement for international students
Students must possess a grade point average (GPA) of at least 2.75 on a 4.0 scale, calculated on the last two years of undergraduate study and must have the acceptable scores on the Graduate Record Examination (GRE). Students should complete a minimum of 36 hours of course work for both the thesis and non-thesis options. At least 18 of these credit hours must be selected from courses that are numbered 600 and above. For international students whose native language is not English must have the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 560 or above on paper-based test with no section score lower than 54, or a 220 or above on computer-based test with no section score lower than 21 is required for admission.
