Course summary
This program offers courses and research opportunities in many of the core areas of computer science: databases, programming languages, artificial intelligence, networks and distributed and parallel computing, data compression, human computer interaction and collaborative technology. Students will have the opportunity to take courses and conduct research in many of the emerging interdisciplinary fields associated with computer science, such as neural nets and dynamical systems, computational linguistics, computational biology, and educational technology.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants should have earned a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution for graduate admissions. International students, whose native language is not English, must have a minimum Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score of 600 (paper-based), 250 (computer-based) or 79 (internet-based). Students may also take the International English Language Testing Service (IELTS) in lieu of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 7 is required for the IELTS. Graduate Record Exam (GRE) general test is also required for admission.
