Course summary
The Master of Arts in Learning Disabilities will prepare to address language and learning issues in school-age children, adolescents, and adults who are underachieving relative to their cognitive ability. Most graduates of this program work in schools, clinics, community agencies, and private practice. Our curriculum integrates academic theory and research with hands-on clinical practice. You’ll study normal and atypical learning and development. Course work covers all major areas of cognition and achievement, including oral language, reading, writing, mathematics, and nonverbal behavior.
