Course summary
This program's curriculum consists of approximately 50% arts and sciences courses, 35% core business administration courses and 15% insurance courses. The specialized courses in insurance are designed to give students the theoretical knowledge they need for careers in insurance and the practical skills necessary to gain employment in the insurance industry. The courses cover the nature of risk, life and health insurance, property and casualty insurance, risk management, and employee benefits. Insurance majors select finance and real estate courses as electives and complete two independent study projects.

Entry requirement for international students
Students must have official transcripts of CSC, CXC, GCE, WASC, CGSE or official final secondary school records, results from the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test Assessment (ACT), international students from non-English speaking country must have scores from Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
