Course summary
This program provides the students with rigorous theoretical and methodological training. The program emphasizes the need to apply sociological analyzes to understand their everyday lives in ways that embody the Jesuit commitment to building a community of scholars who are concerned with ethical and social justice issues in a diverse society.
Entry requirement for international students
Students must have an overall quality of high school courses and appropriately challenging coursework, academic performance in high school, including the cumulative grade point average from the first year of high school through the junior year of high school. They should possess the basic subject requirements such as three years of history and social Science, mathematics, four years of English, two years of laboratory science and language other than English, 1 year of visual and performing arts and college preparatory electives. International applicants and permanent residents must submit the results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam when English is not their first language with a minimum acceptable TOEFL score is 79 on Internet based, 213 on computer based, or 550 paper based is required for admission.
