Course summary
The program strives to prepare a multi-cultural student body for professional architectural experience in varied public and private settings. The program addresses issues in urban architecture, housing, health care, recreation, commerce, education, and governance. These explorations provide contact with the diversity of people who live or work in urban areas and address issues such as master planning, historic considerations, urban design, economics, construction technologies, and security, maintenance, and design standards. This course offerings in design, history and theory, technology, and professional practice are geared towards the dual objectives of preparing students both for employability in quality professional offices and leadership roles as licensed public and private sector entrepreneurs.
Entry requirement for international students
Applicants must posses a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. There is no prescribed undergraduate course of study for admission to the program. Students with an overall undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 or better are offered unconditional admission, while a GPA of at least 2.5 is required conditional admission.
