Course summary
This program is designed to prepare students for international careers in Foreign Service, journalism, education, and business. It is a research intensive program that encourages students to pursue further training through field work and travel experiences.

POSC 501 Theories of International Relations, ENGL 564 Technical Writing, INST 603 Research Methods, SOCI 531 Seminar in Social Deprivation , HIST 580 Historical Origins of Contemporary Problems.
Entry requirement for international students
Students should have earned a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university. For unconditional admission, applicants must have: a minimum of 18 semester hours of undergraduate history or related courses in the area of History or African Diaspora studies; and not less than 3.0 in history, related fields, plus the overall GPA. For conditional admission, applicants must: have earned a minimum of 18 semester hours of undergraduate history or related courses, or must successfully take HIST 350 and other supporting undergraduate courses as needed; have earned not less than a 2.5 average in History, related fields plus the overall GPA.
